what part of the balance shaft wears
I dont think the noise in my bike is the power valve, i cant see any wear patterns indicating contact. Is it the gear teeth or the bearings that wear on the balance shaft, because the shaft itself should not be in contact with anything? I havent taken the shaft out, but i would presume that the gear...

the noise is low to mid rpm, and when the engine is under load.
it sounds like the noise some of the other guys are hearing.
what do you mean by balance shaft wear, in the gears, or the bearings?
i will check the balance shaft next time i have the engine apart

oil consumption is ok
the oil consumption seems ok, but with an auto lube system, it is hard to tell. any other possibilities
