Big thanks to Rikkster.. the bushes came out ...if just a bit of a knock ..1 hr later both legs done ..2 hrs later all complete .No stiffness with me or the front forks..sound !! next project fork seals on the GIXER..

FORK SEALS !!

Hi from your post you have replaced the fork seals on a MK2 . I am in the process of doing the same ..however i'm stuck ! i've removed the cartridge, spring.. in fact every thing except the upper outer tube ,the lower inner tube and the fork seal assembley. I expected the lower leg to pull straight ...

REBORED AND AWAY !!!

Thanks for that re assurance. It has been rebored to 66.5mm and fitted with a patent TRX 250 quad piston. It's now run in and runing on premix , cos the autolube just seems to ooze rather than actually pump anything. It is running better than ever starts second time when left over night and first ti...

OIL LEAK

I found that a few breater pipes had go squeezed together . I have freed them and the oil leak ,which was quite severe , has gone !

OIL LEAK ?

Having rebuilt the top end of my '92 MK11 it runs fine ....except an oil leak has developed ,coming out of the clutch actuator shaft ? anyone any ideas why and how do i rectify ??
