Re: Rear Lights
I got an Acerbis unit from Leisure Trail which takes a standard incandescent 21/5W bulb for my AR. The bulb holder is sideways (rather than down the length of the bike) so the light is brighter on the RHS of the lens. It also has a clear bit of lens underneath to illuminate the number plate. It does...

Re: Exhaust gasket / poor starting
Leisure Trail don't list everything they have for CRMs on their website, so drop 'em an email (as you're 12hrs, or so, ahead). They're reasonably prompt at replying.

Re: A/R VACUUM SWITCHES
Hi Mike You're delving deeper than I've dared (or had time) to go. So; 1. No I haven't replaced either of them. 2. Don't know about Honda only part - If they're made by Denso, perhaps they're available elsewhere (couldn't read the numbers on the photo so couldn't do an internet search). 3. If they "...

Re: throttle cables - adjusting 'em and stuff - idiot guide pls
Not enough time over weekend to do much work on CRM (due to family), but did manage to discover the following; 1. Oil pump adjuster screw is bent and won't turn - I feel a phone call to LT coming on. 2. The throttle grip was catching ever-so-slightly on the handguard hence the throttle closing actio...

Re: throttle cables - adjusting 'em and stuff - idiot guide pls
Once again, cheers for the replies. I'll be having another look tonight - hopefully should get it sorted. I'm down to the last few tweaks/finishing touches ahead of MOT planned for end of Sept. Carb slide could well be a little gummed - the petrol is 2.5 years old!!! Still runs okay though. A good d...

Re: throttle cables - adjusting 'em and stuff - idiot guide pls
Cheers for the replies fellas. Freebz1122 - Neither cable appears to be catching down side of tank - splitter unit (on opening cable) sits nicely in its 2 holders. - Throttle tube is not the smoothest action on the bar (but not to bad), previous owner appears to have lubed with a lithium grease. I s...

The throttle return/close cable on my AR does not have a locknut at either end - unlike the opening cable which has a plastic locknut at the twist grip end and a steel one at the throttle pulley end. Should the return/close cable have the locknuts? I feel it should do, how else can you keep the adju...

Re: Mk 2 Steering head bearings - tech details
Yep, we have Mike.. Id quite highly recommend NOT pressing the stem out! With the right size drift and some accurate class 1 tw*tting, in a circle pattern, mine came up and off. Fraid you are bound to knacker the seal, but you get one in the All Balls kit... The Dremel way works too..if youve got o...

Let's hope KK has done a sterling job on FMTB's under-crackers.................... Now then, steering head bearings......... Anybody got any bright ideas on how to get the bottom inner race off the steering stem? The bugger is stuck fast and all I've managed to do so far is bend the bottom seal beyo...
