CR250 92-96 Subframe on CRM250AR
As the title suggests.
Ive been trawling images on the net again :(
It looks like the rear subframe from a CR250 will fit a CRM250 frame? has anyone tried this?
Purely in the sake of better fitmet for CR250 seat and rear plastics etc.
Let me know.

I dont know what I was smoking when I looked at the CR250 95 model and thought the subframe looked the same.. It mounts the plastic completely different. DAMN!

Oh yeh,
The bike has only done 3700KM's, whilst I have the motor from the frame is it worth doing a top end/piston on such low milage? And if so any specs I need to squeeze an extra pony or two here?

Thanks everyone for the replies.. got it all done.. Only one very important question. Anyone know the torque settings for the nut on top of the tripple clamp.. Not the notched nut - I did this up but not to tight.. there is not up/down movement in the bearings. Its the actually the nut on top of top...

Do you mean grind a slot across in a diag direction?
It just seems to sit very tight/flush against the dirt/dust seal?

Headstock Bearing - How do i? PIC included
OK, ive just stripped the front off my AR.. it looks sooo sad :( Notchy steering etc.. I have removed all of the bearings and the holders in the frame.. But on the yoke attached to the bottom of the tripple has a bearing runner which looks like its press fitted? Anyone have any tips on removing this...

G'day, Aussie CRM250AR owner here.. I have a 1999 model which only has 2000km's on the clock and It just seems to be a pig to start when cold. heres my procedure (please tell me if its wrong).
