Sounds more like fuel supply to me. Clean out the carb. thoroughly, blow through all the jets and airways with a high pressure airline, clean out the tank, dismantle and clean the fuel tap and filter assembly, lastly, fit one of those small in-line filters to the fuel pipe between the tank and carb....

Hi,

I've got marked up maps of a couple of years ago for Leicestershire and surrounding areas if you want to look.

There are'nt that many great lanes though.................

Oh, and I'm only a few miles from Anstey.

Cheers,

Roger.

Hi,

Sounds like the splines on the kickstarter ?

If they've worn away, a new one will sort it, if they've gone on the shaft you need a new one of them - other than that, it could be a problem inside, it is easy to remove the right hand cover and see.

Good luck.

Hi, A plug chop is to see how the fuelling is on your bike. Do this; find a nice, long, straight road, cane the bike through the gears, and hold flat out in top for at least half to one mile, then, whip in the clutch and kill the engine, coast to a halt, and whip out the plug, the colour of the cent...

Hi Beanie, It's a high pressure nitrogen filled chamber, but the shock unit is very basic, and whatever adjustment you do seems to have little effect - on my Mk3 anyway. I used to ride with it fully clockwise, then tried it fully anti-clock, and the bike did seem to ride bumps slightly better like t...

Hi All,

Graphics designs look excellent, if it's too costly to proguce and ship full sets from Sri Lanka, Danger (http://www.danger-uk.co.uk) can produce these designs on correct self adhesive graphic material.

Perhaps Thush could receive a royalty on each set sold ?

Beanie, Take off your tank and clean it out - you'll be surprised how much crud is in there. Make sure you put a small fuel filter between the tank and carb as this will catch the tiny particles the tank filter lets through. They cost about a quid and should stop your carb getting blocked in the fut...
