Engine temperatures (vapour settings)
Hi all, Ive just got myself a vapour and im wanting to know what you have set yours if you have one at for the below settings: High temp 'c Danger max temp 'c Shift 1 rpm Shift2 rpm Not to bothered about the shift ones, mainly temp. Any help would be great. Did a quick search but didnt find anything...

Hi mate, My bike is running on premix, however it alwas has done. From what i can tell all that has been done is that the oil pipes have been removed. The oil pump is still there, just no cable attached and thats it. But ive heard things about jetting should be changed? Not sure wether mine has but ...

yeah, cheers, i used it on all my motocross bikes aswell, never had any problems to do with oil so think il stick to it. Unless any one would highly reccomend some other oil.

Thanks alot for that mike, just the advise i was looking for, just filled the tank with that mixture :-( worth draining it out and doing a lower mixture or is ok it for one tank do you think? Last thing i want is a seizure. Using top putoline mx5 oil which i use in my motocross bike so a decent oil....

Could be a number of things matey, just sounds like a missfire, maybe due a spark plug? espsecaially if its ruinning abit rich? sure someone will point you in the right direction if they have experianced the same.

Hi, ive just been testing it from the postive coming out of the rec, but also at all the other live feeds such as the lights, ignition etc, all reading the same, however when i first fitted the replacement magneto, i did get a reading of 5.50volts, but then later checked again and was just 2.50volts...

Hello again, bit of a update on the problem, I changed the rec for another good one and still 2.50volts, (rules out the rec at fault), i changed the whole magneto and stator for another one ( i thought this would deffintly fix it) s...

yeah i was thinking of maybe doing that, just putting a small battery in the air box or something, just for the MOT, think i will do that, cheers. I am deffinetly wanting a cr 500 on the road in the next 3-4 years, and going of that price i think il buy one done, or have no lights, thats just unreal...
