I know this is an old thread but I just made a couple of these and they are excelent top marks for coming up with the idea howe!!

I made a bracket and mounted them on the bottom yoke bolts they fit nicely under the rad panels on full lock,

iv got a 140 michelin on, it did have a bit of a disagrement with the chain guard but that was nackered anyway!

To be honest I have no idea what springs are in there but im sure someone on here can tell you?

The cheaper way to make them stiffer is to put a little more oil in, not to much but just a little about 10-15mm should be enough to start with

Hello mate, I think you should go out with the stock set up and see how it goes thats what iv done with mine and it handels fine though iv only been going playing around the streets on it, But if need be you could always do the compresion up a bit on the forks to get an idea with out doing anything ...

Iv always used a angle grinder to get them off

just be careful with it becasue you can take chunks out the yoke!

The rims I have are unbranded so I dont know what sort of price they would of be new, Theres some cheap xr sprockets on ebay at the moment I got a 38t for £10 delivered but they use 8mm bolts not 10mm that the crms do so I made some sleves to go inside the hub to space them down, You can get a peice...

Well I thought I'd find somewhere to go ride with out the police getting called out and moving us on so today I went to the local library to have a look at the definitive map and statement of rights of way in oxfordshire spent a good 45 mins looking over all these maps and couldn't find 1 byway open...
