Re: long range fuel tank

I put a rack on the back of mine with a fuel can strapped to it. I've not seen any bigger tanks anywhere. It was a hard enough job finding a rack!

Re: Graphics CRM 250 and CRM 250 AR

Can't see CRM250AR reproductions on either of those sites. I found the AMR Racing site also with a simple Google search but couldn't see anything listed for a CRM.

So, using a simple Google search hasn't really worked has it. Maybe a more complex one is called for ;)

Re: Graphics CRM 250 and CRM 250 AR

If yours is a Mk3 then the panels are the same. If not then they are different. Got a link to the site that does the AR graphics then?

Re: pin dale

The article actually states the track is LEGAL:

"The site has been particularly vulnerable because it lies near an unsurfaced track which is legal for vehicles and trail bikes"

So was the quarry previously legal and now illegal ?

Re: CRM 250 AR 1999 INDICATORS!!

I posted info on how to rewire AR indicators so they work properly and also use a solid state (ie waterproof and vibration proof) relay ages ago. It's around somewhere if you have a search.

Re: Output shaft end play + balance shaft

Output shaft bearing play is different from endfloat. There should be no play but endfloat isn't automatically a problem. I'd guess that most healthy motorcycle gearboxes have an element of endfloat.

Re: Sprocket sizing

You won't get what you are looking for I'm afraid. You are asking for high gearing in 1st and 2nd and then low gearing in the rest. If the bike feels like it's going to wheelie, back off the throttle a bit - but you know that already. You could try fitting a smaller rear sprocket (40 tooth maybe) to...

Re: MK3 AR Seat

I have a red Mk3 seat in my garage gathering dust. It's all there and intact (not been cut down) but would benefit from a new cover as it's a bit grubby.

Re: crm carb/parts guru needed!!

Do you mean the baffle thing that's held between the main jet and the emulsion tube? If so, and if it's the same as an AR, it's 16168-ka5-004. I don't think that would make it run crap low down though. It's there to make sure there is fuel around the main jet when the going gets a bit bouncy and sho...

Re: Ar indicators

You can fit an aftermarket relay and do a bit of custom wiring to sort it out. I posted a howto a while back.
