Re: ohms for mover valve motor

i purchased the new motor.

the resistance is 100 ohms or 500 ohms, changing as the motor is turned through different "segments".

i hope this helps other people who want to check there own.

thanks

ohms for mover valve motor

Hi Does anyone know what resistance to expect from the power valve motor? I think mine may be past its best. I have read the "power valve problems" thread (which is very good). I have an intermintant power valve motor - sometimes stickes in the open position. I have already 1 - stripped/, cleaned an...

i fitted 1990 CR 250 forks to my CRM 250 AR today

hi guys i fitted 1990 CR 250 forks to my CRM 250 AR today - in my opinion they are significantly better than the standard crm fork. I needed to use the front spindle, spacers etc from the 1990 fork also, but managed to retain the standard mecanical speedo drive. In my opinion, the crm fork was very ...

Re: 2 stroke and gearbox oil

the pump is driven by the engine, so at 5000 rpm the pump will be turning pretty fast - regardless of if the throttle is opened or closed.

the pump is ALSO governed by throttle opening

so to recap

THE PUMP OUTPUT IS CONTROLLED BY BOTH ENGINE SPEED AND ENGINE LOAD(THROTTLE POSITION)

Re: Front Fork improvements

you asked what forks fit the crm yokes - wp 43mm usd forks (from bikes like ktm exc) fit directly into crm yokes with no modifications. the complete ktm front would be needed (brembo brakes and all!) i have a set to fit, but havnt sorted out a speedo drive yet. eddie - yes, 15wt oil is too thick but...

Re: Front Fork improvements

stiffer springs are definetly worth the money (imo). the standard fork springs on my ar were 3.8 n, i now use 4.6n springs as i weigh 15 stone (without riding gear) i am using 15wt oil, but the fork feel harsh on small bumps now - i will try and improve the shim stacks when i have time. i plan on bu...
