Re: Updates - 2017

Well a couple more updates
The theme seems to work well, loads quickly on a mobile and more importantly doesn't go tits up on a small screen.
There is now a "like" feature which i hope you will enjoy using.

Lets see how this goes for a bit, but feedback is welcome

Re: Updates - 2017

Ok so you may have noticed it all looks a bit different. I have updated the board, updated the PHP version, updated MySQL and moved the site to another new server to allow a graceful decom of the old. I have had to remove some of the modifications from the old board, and of course the custom skin / ...

Updates - 2017

Hello everyone, i am planning on some pretty major updates to the board and bring it up a couple of versions. changes that are obvious will be the skin it uses. We may have to revert to the standard PHPBB skin for a while, however more importantly will be the downtime. I am warning you all now to ex...

Re: Facebook page?

No idea who set this up, perhaps its worth us setting one up ? FWIW i had this discussion recently with some guys on another forum, and we have all noticed forum traffic drop as facebook groups pop up. However the quality of some of the replies is shocking on FB. It does seem to attract some whopper...

Re: Wheel sizes

not sure if lots of others just bolt in - however the rear you are looking for will be a 4.25 rim to house a 150 rear section tyre (that's what my AR runs)
Front is 3.5"

Re: Shaun's (AR's) CRM250AR/CR250 Conversion

also Ian at Viper racing has developed a pipe for me, allowing it to get the gasses out up top so now is reliable on trackdays and can be held flat out for periods. coupled with a zeel ECU and powerjet in the carb, even allows for part throttle without going lean or risking being sent skyward when c...

Re: Shaun's (AR's) CRM250AR/CR250 Conversion

Mike, i run an 03 and an 07 CR250 and with motard wheels and 15/36 gearing - a theoretical 112 mph is achievable. add a flywheel kit and its tractable and grunty and is easy to pull away with no stalling. it makes a better and way faster road bike than the CRM the only kicker is the premix and small...

Re: 2 stroke pump using LOADS of oil ?

I like to adjust the pump on the high side, past where the marks should line up. I don't mind using a little more oil - better that than not enough. This is not actually true and something to be aware of, the extra oil is burned off which of course generates heat, also more oil = less fuel per bang...
