Re: Stolen CR recovered advice needed
We now have the bike back, well what there is of it anyway. Looks like the recovery firm were just trying their luck with the charging as once I got hold of the right department of the police they agreed it should only be £180. It was a long way to go from Devon to Derby but seeing as it would have ...

Re: Stolen CR recovered advice needed
Thanks for the advice guys I will look into it. The bike wasn't insured as it was just used as a moto-x bike, it just happened to come with a V5 which made me happier I wasn't buying a stolen bike in the first place. The V5 was in my name and we reported the theft when it happened so all our details...

Stolen CR recovered advice needed
Hi all Had a CR stolen from a garage where we use to live in Surrey about 8 years ago, it was a CR but came with a V5. We got a phone call the week before last from Derbyshire police saying they had found it whilst searching someone’s place for something else but not many other details other than it...

Re: Cleaner look!
The "PINK" (red) wheels cost £692 without tyres, they were laced off crm hubs that i brought second hand from this site so no need for spacers. They were built by central wheel components and took about 4 weeks. The tyres pirelli diablo rosso (mm nice "n" sticky) 150/60 on the back and the front is...

Re: Cleaner look!
Hi Ally, what size rear tyre you got and did you have to put spacers inside the sprockets to hold the chain out from the tyre?
I have got some nice XR600 supermoto wheels to fit but the rear tyre is massively larger than the rim at 160 so will need changing as it is never going to fit at the moment.

Removing oil from frame sensor for pwoder coating
Hi
Got a CRM mk2 frame I want to get powder coated but am weary about taking the oil sensor out as I don't want to bust it trying as I can't obviously see what holds it in, can anyone who has taken it out say how it is fitted into the frame.
Thanks

Re: Hello!
Having used both, a CRM is very little like a CR to ride other than riding position. CR's are a handful and you generally need to give them a constant wedge of throttle to keep them running smoothly, a CRM is alot tamer and easier to ride. If you wanted to make it a bit more of a beast I'm sure ther...

Re: I brought a stolen bike from a dealer
You haven't said how you found the bikes true identity and that it's stolen. The genuine frame number has been overstamped by someone so how did you read the original number? The number that is now stamped is false so you cannot change your V5C to suit. If the original number can be recovered, this...

Re: Seat Height
The seat height on my CRM mk2 is a good inch or more lower than OH's CRM AR and I don't think it has had anything done to lower it, just to let you know.
