Give LT your key number and they'll send you a key, £7.99 plus P+P. BB.

Welcome. Try and stay upright, after 40 you don't bounce as well as you used to. BB.

Re: Chain conundrum
Thanks for the link Mark
It does look a tiny bit droopy, but if I set the chain slack at 30mm on the sidestand and sit on the bike it takes out all the free play. Maybe I've had too many ice creams. BB.

Chain conundrum
Reading previous posts it has been suggested that the chain be adjusted at the tightest point of the suspension's travel, which makes sense but doesn't tally up with the 30mm to 40mm slack with the suspension unloaded on the sidestand as per the manual. Someone commented on my chain looking slack wh...

Luckily it's not a Mkl but a Mklll so you dodged a bullet there. It's sort of a poor mans AR if you like. I'm pretty sure that these are universally held views and will cause no dissension whatsoever. BB.

Re: 320mm disc
Thanks for the tip, now my only problem is that the disc is rubbing on the Talon bracket when the axle is tightened, anyone have any ideas? BB.

320mm disc
Only just got around to fitting the supermoto wheels I bought off Ebay. There doesn't appear to be enough space between the rim inner and 320mm disc to fit the caliper. Surely you don't have to take the pads out to fit the caliper? BB.

Re: CRM verus KTM`s
Yes, those wide footrests weigh in at 256g each as apposed to 144g. One of mine was too narrow; the other too wide. It took some vice work, hole filing, and dressing to get them to fit - good value though. BB.

Filter oil
Anyone had any experience of No Toil filter oil and cleaner? The oil doesn't seem to be, err, very oily - it smells like something a tramp would drink.

Sprocket bolts - interchangeable?
I searched "sprocket bolts" in technical, so I feel safe to ask.... The rear sprocket retaining bolts on the sprocket I've just removed are M10s with a large flat inside profile - the sprocket that I'm pinching from another CRM wheel uses M8s with a smaller conical inside profile. These rattle aroun...

Re: a big whats up from thailand. heeeeeelp!
Hi Martin This valve is in a normally closed configuration - with no power supplied to the connections the pipes remain unconnected. If you blow down one pipe, no air should flow - the application of 12v allows the air to pass through the valve. Although I doubt this is your problem, if you need to ...

Re: Indicator bulbs
Thanks for the link.
It's a BA9s fitting (9mm OD with parallel bayonet pins) and specified at 12v 15w for CRMs. The indicators I have bought came with 23w lamps in them - a 50% increase. Am I worrying too much about nothing?
