Re: speedo on motard
Agree with above, seems odd, also check you have the correct tyre sizes , if the back is low for any reason that will slow the steering,

Re: ecu testing
I think unless anybody comes up with an alternative there wil be a lot more bikes broken for spares,.ive just modifeid my mk 2 to a mk1 ecu, but i woulndt recommend it, its down on power and not an easy task, as much as i want to stay loyal to the bike it is a major concern as i ride some very remot...

Re: motard advice
Sizes are a bit narrow, really you need 17x3.00 and 17x3.50 ( or 17x4.00 ) tyre sizes 110-70-17 and 130-70-17, getting 32 hole rear rims seems hard lately, for the front brake you can use the standard size or with an XR250/400/650 caliper extender you can use a 320mm,talon do one,

Re: Excell #'s
Recommended sizes for the CRM are the same as the jap spec XR250, 17x3.0 front and 17x3.50 rear, Excel do make these sizes and any off road dealer ought to be able to order them from Talon for you,the 32 hole rear is quite rare and may be special order,as a side note the 17x3.00 front is easy to get...

Re: TRF(trail riders fellowship)
Half of the lanes in Devon and Cornwall are open in part to vigorous work from the TRF, they do a very worthwhile job and are not a lot of serow riding pipe smokers as some imagine, .

Re: I brought a stolen bike from a dealer
I know this is an old topic, however you have all missed a definate line of action, HAD the bike indeed been stolen or been a ringer and the purchaser had the receipt showing the numbers when bought are the same now, the dealer is liable, period, me, i would have just gone in there with my lawyer, s...
