yeah, 03-07 were the case induction cylinders, but the 05-07 had a more durable exhaust bridge (cracking) and better mid range so I grabbed one off ebay that was replated. stud patterns are almost identical, just need to offset the rear two by a few mm. then a little bit of machining on the bottom of the cylinder so that it fits in the cases... a maico 137.5mm rod a KTM SX250 piston so the rod ends up being 12.5mm longer than the CR250 rod :D and combine that with the...

ahh yeah, Iv seen that one :)

Im glad someone else is running a CR motor in a CRM frame ... well mines a CR top end on a CRM bottom end, but same thing :)

Iv got my suspension guy rebuilding my shock right now. Ive asked him to document all the changes including shim stacks and spring swap for you guys... he reckons although it is pretty basic, we should be able to get a decent firm road set up which will do me fine for a seasons or two of SM racing. ...

Wilber (also know as WILBUR) is a german company that is well know for making top of the line suspension comparable to the likes of Ohlins, Nitron, Ktech, WP. Marzocchi... I just found that they make supermoto shocks for the CRM250AR they are custom built for your needs... prices start at 400 pounds...

I might have to get creative and just make an airbox...

get some chicken wire and make an airbox template, then form some thermosplastic to the shape with my heat gun (any excuse to use the heat gun!!!)

I agree, but I need to stop crap from flinging at my big pod air filter...

so I have two options..

OR

build a cylindrical airbox out of some 150mm pipe

yeah dont bother doing it... the hardest thing is finding an aftermarket piston that has the right gudgeon size... there are many other simpler ways to extra more power than that, so its not worth it. how damaged is your bore? could you just get it honed and put an 1st oversize in it +01mm (MK1/2/3 ...

best part is that the vforce3's line up perfectly with the inlet passage in the CR manifold, but dont line up with the CRM manifold.

as you can see if the pic, the cr one is off to the side a little :)
