Re: AR Headlight - for MK3 Supermoto
Hi Mate,
Have you tried looking for a CRF250/450X one. They look the same and I'm sure they can be modded to fit. I've seen a few on Ebay recently.

Re: Label everything!!
Yeah, I checked here first. As the diagram says, it's a general view for illustration purposes, not an accurate diagram. My PV servo is on the opposite side of the barrel to the diagram, therefore the cable posistions in the diagram may not be correct for my MK3 - although they probably are.

Label everything!!
Hi Everyone, I took the PV cables out of my MK3 to clean and grease them, went for a cup of tea and then couldn't remember which side they go back in on the PV servo - Doh! I have attached the cable with the locknut on the left of the PV arm to the left hand side of the PV servo, is this correct? Ch...

Re: Powervalve question
Yeah, sorry I meant with the engine running when the throttle is opened. I think I'll clean and oil the PV cables first before expeimenting with different PV positions.

Re: Powervalve question
Thanks Guys, I just assumed that when the throttle is opened the valve arm would move anti-clockwise from closed to fully open. I only bought the bike a few weeks ago, so I'm in the process of cleaning, resetting everything back to factory settings and remembering how 2 strokes work again. I might a...

Powervalve question
Hi Everyone, I've checked the FAQs but no joy. My powervalve moves clockwise when you blip the thottle, at certain revs(over 2/2.5K) it then changes and goes anti-clockwise to what looks like fully open at full throttle. Is this normal? The PV marks are aligned correctly and the valve moves freely b...

Re: Top speed
Cheers Guys, The previous owner had drilled the airbox, so I've taped these up. Also cleaned the carb and checked the jets and needle posistion all standard. The powervalve's working as it should and the air filter's been cleaned. The power just seems to tail off after 3/4 throttle. Comparing it to ...

Top speed
Hi Everyone, is anyone running 14/45 gearing on a standardish bike. If so, what sort of top speed do you get. My Mk3 does about 75- 80ish, so don't know if it's limited by the gearing or not revving out properly. Cheers.
