Hi all She's running again, I've been through the whole loom & all components with the multi meter, still can't find a reason for the loss of spark. After reading recent posts, I think the ignition coil maybe at fault. i'm quite happy to replace it, but thought I would ask your advice on what to rep...

Hi all
Still struggling with my AR, just checked the coil as the manual says. Primary coil measures 0.6 - 0.7 ( higher than the
manual says) Secondary reads nothing at all, with or without HT lead or cap. Does this mean it's dead?

I did check the woodruff key after reading a previous post, but didn't check the magneto. Weekend with the circuit
tester then. What are your tips for this job?

Thanks Heli The earth from the headlight goes to the left handle bar switch & was broken at the two wires to the clutch switch. They were folded back on themselves & cable tied to the other wires. I cut the dodgy section out & soldered new wire in, but in my hurry didn't put the horn switch in corre...

don't think so as I have been cranking it by hand with the plug out and shorting to the engine and there is no spark,also the poor sods who pushed me all weekend said there was loads of compression.
