Re: Frame welding
Update on fame welding. In order to remove any risk to electrical components during tig welding, I unplugged all connectors, ecu and disconnected the earth straps. Frame is now welded with nothing electrically damaged. I can’t be sure if this was necessary but better to be safe than sorry.

Do I need to do any preparation before welding I.e unplug pgm unit, coils etc? Or would it be ok to mig/tug weld without doing any prep? Not me actually doing the welding but...

2T drain plug
I would like to drain the 2T oil from my frame on my Mk2. Is the only drain/bleed screw the one located on/at the oil pump unit? Is there a better way to drain the 2t oil out?
Cheers in advance

Re: Oil pressure switch removal
cheers guys, after silicone sealing it all, I've now retopped up with 2T oil so will see if the leak continues. I never let the 2T oil drop below the site tube on the frame! I only use the bike for a short commute and I'd never rely on the light (actually never seen it come on) to tell me if I am lo...

Oil pressure switch removal
Got a slight leak from the oil pressure switch (rubber/plastic bung) located in the frame under the tank on my mk2 CRM. Is there a method for getting this thing out without completely damaging the unit? I've tried to prize the thing out with screwdrivers etc but the thing won't budge! It does pivot ...

Ride out In Glos any advice where to go?
Hi All, Have a mk2 that I only use for work commute. Bought it to try green laning but have not met anyone local enough to go out with. I live in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire and really don't know any green lanes. Family commitments mean I am not available that often to go out riding but would prefer...
