Lol what I meant was that if a CR motor was installed they dont have coils so for lights then a battery would be needed. I know electrex do a coil but they are about as useful as having a candle on the bars.
No daylight only MOT here either, must have lights/horn working. bah.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have always liked Spokeys CRM motard, he put pics of it years ago on Visordown (before it went downhill!!).
Re the CR250 motor, that would be the easiest way of making the bike faster if it needed it. Re teh wiring, battery in the airbox is the simplest way to sort ...

Been lurking for years but decided to join as I feel the itch for a 2 stroke motard.
The CRM may scratch that itch as I love old school Honda looks and Honda "Red" ;-)
