Ahh that's where I was going wrong!

Thought I found one on ebay, but it turned out to be wrong. Am waiting on the local Honda dealer now, otherwise will do it the old fashioned way and measure the seal then go to a bearing factors..

mk3 output shaft seal

The output shaft seal on my mk3 is leaking.

I'm struggling to find the seal anywhere, does anyone have any leads? Will one off say a cr fit?

Or if anyone has a part number for one that would be dandy!

Thanks,
Paul

Re: A pootle on the CRM round some local lanes

Yes, it's a bit narrow! Typical Welsh hillsides. My friend is on an XR400, good little plodder (when he can start it!). There are levels of personal injury cover you can get, I have a policy for racing which pays me for breaks, hospital stays etc. There are some that pay you for time off work but gu...

A pootle on the CRM round some local lanes

Having borrowed a CRF250X for the last rideout, I was :BB to be back on the CRM last Saturday! So much better to ride! We did a nice loop of a mountain, bit boring to watch but superb to ride! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjaQSmfPun8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1373yTygdXE https://www.youtube...

Re: First attempt at an enduro on my CRM

Thanks! I was a little unprepared to say the least! Think my forks had no oil in, and I learnt a lot about using decent handlebar grips that don't allow your muddy hands to slip off every 2 minutes

But it was great fun, will hopefully do a few more on the CRM this year!

First attempt at an enduro on my CRM

A bit embarrassing really, but at least I was on the oldest bike. And the worst maintained!

Re: Caliper mounting rubbers

Possibly, the back one for sure but no idea how long the front one has been missing. Only noticed the other day :)

Re: Draggy clutch

Think the whole bike needs some TLC. It's a testament to Honda how well they are built & how much abuse it's survived with me! Have ordered a new clutch cover gasket, will get a wiggle on next week and try to solve it. Might make a new cable as I have the feeling this one isn't much longer for the w...

Draggy clutch

Hi all,

My Mk3 has a slight clutch drag issue. I've had the basket out & there is minimal wear on the tangs (usual cause for dragging clutches). It seems to get worse once the engine is hot, so something is expanding. Possibly dished plain plates? Anyone seen this before?

Cheers

Re: Gear lever & rear brake pedal

Ok, I'd have thought it would have been the other way round! I did notice that the shaft is pretty large on the Crm.

I'll eye up some brake levers, see what I can get to fit.

Thanks!
