Going premix
Evening CRM fans, This might be a stupid question but Im gonna ask it anyway. Ive snapped the brass fitting on the 2 stroke oil pump and doesnt sound like they can be bought from Honda. I dont mind going premix but other than just getting the mix in the tank correct is there anything else i needd to...

Re: Compression
I stripped it diwn this time last year, painted frame etc, fitted exhaust. Bike started fine but was running badly, bogging down when I tried to rev it. Was trying to sort that when it just cut out and I haven't been able to start it since. Fuel isn't too old, I put fresh in after I had rebuilt the bi...

Re: Compression
Yeh it's weird. All of the above are fine. I've fitted a new dep pipe aswell. It replaced an old dep pipe so it shouldn't need rejetting should it?

Re: Compression
One more question, so the compression is about 125 cold. I know that's low but wouldn't it still start but not produce very much power? Mines not even hinting at a start

Re: Compression
Yeh I'm wondering whether it's the wear that's causing the low compression. To be fair I did take it to a bike garage and the guy just told me to get the same size piston that I had removed.

Re: Compression
There wasn't any scoring so didn't think it would be necessary. Should I have?

Compression
Good Morning CRM fans, Would someone be able to compression test their bike when cold for me? I've done a rebuild (no rebore) because the compression was at 120 but after the rebuild I'm only getting 125? I don't know what mine was putting out when warm as I replaced the piston due to it not running...

Re: Ignition coil ?
Hi dave, quite strange this is the last post on the technical section because I've recently stripped and cleaned mine up including painting the frame but having got to the point of starting it I'm finding that the plug only sparks once in every 20 kicks roughly. When you take the plug out are you ge...

Replacement drain plug
Has anybody replaced theirs? Mines a bit gnarled up but can't find any replacements advertised on eBay.
Mk3 by the way although not sure it makes any odds.

Re: Mk2 Resorection
Did you have problems getting the swing arm pivot bolt out? I'm tidying mine up at the mo and wanted to have the frame powder coated but can't for the life of me get the bastard out.

MK3 Rebuild - forks and exhaust
Hi Everyone, I'm just going about rebuilding my MK3 but am keen to upgrade the forks. I love everything else on the bike but the forks are pretty crap for enduros/mx. I've see threads that "suggest" cr250 forks will fit but has anyone actually done it? Or fitted any other off roads fork upgrade? Als...

Race Tech Gold valve cartridge emulator
Sounds like something out of Dr Who or Back to the Future but has anyone fitted one to a MK3 CRM?
By all reports they are a great upgrade on damper rod forks.
