I bought some silicone hoses for my cbr engine coolant, it should be fine with coolant, but not many silicone suppliers recommend it for use with fuels (petrol, etc).
I found silicone quite expensive for what you get and it likes to kink if you try to take it round a sharp ish corner. What i did ...

i havent got any advice, but my local motocross shop told me to keep clear of the front forks, as its easy to mess up, etc, and quite expensive when i do.

sounds painful, my knees arent up to much as they are, without ever falling off my bike. They are just crap, mym dad had similar probs a while back, but his went, and mine only hurt occasionaly.
Anyway, my dad doesnt look promising to take a day off work (new job) so i may need to order my metal ...

ive still got to ask my dad if he will book a day off work, so he can take me, or try and get my trailer made asap. What did you do to your knees? It sounds painful :o

there is still 1mm on brake pads or so, so they arent fully worn out, but on their way.
it was MOt'd yesterday, and there is a little play in the bearings. The chain has been on since we bought it in summer, and ill have to check the grease on the suspension bearings.

there is an offroad park near where i live, at finningley. and the track is sand, which is very abrasive, and will wear out all moving parts very fast, currently i need the brake pads, chain (on its way out), and bearings replacing, so do you think im as well to go there a couple of times before ...

the other day i was riding along, when i decided to test myself 0 - 60 mph, the only problem was that the speed is in kmh and counting in my head was inaccurate, i timed until the needle on the speedo was between 50mph and 70mph, but no 60mph, also, i got 7 secs which im not sure of, are there ...

hey
my crm 250 mk1 doesnt have a bash plate, but i dont fancy paying £70 for one, but my dads friend can probably make me one for next to nothing (i hope) so could anyone find out some dimensions of one or draw up some designs? that would be much appreciated.
