I've got a Cagiva mito (125) with a cradle to carry either a yzf 450 or CR250 motor....

never heard of that one, used to run Wiseco pistons in my 94 CR without problems, since given up mx'ing as a big spill could lose my leg :(, will try one in my cafe' racer, thanks for the advice...

there was no evidence of dents in the cylinder head or piston crown, happened a couple of times, the last time I changed it just had a crack in it, all on the inlet side, no wonder Honda say you need to change it every 8 hours!!

my favourite CR was the 91 with the huge dual exhaust chamber, seemed a bit more pokey, still got the engine in need of a rebuild, will get round to it one day, it was my first so maybe a little favouritism going on :)

never had a problem with my 01 CR cylinder even when I was racing, did have a couple of shock moments when changing the piston discovering half the skirt missing, how that made it out through the exhaust I'll never know???:)

glad you went for the 2smoker, 250 4 plodders are exactly that, got myself an XT 600 to run around on whilst rebuilding my CRM, all I can say is shizer, the 250 2t would smoke it in 4th gear lol :))))))) welcome to the wonderful world of enduro...
