Update
Everything works as should now. Active Rascal been a huge help and so has everyone else.
All pipes were wrong but sorted it out now and am amazed how that little diaphram works.
Very unique.

This sounds a bit dodgy, geezer who owned this bike was one of those "a little bit of knowledge is deadly" types. I am just trying to get it running nice

I have checked with contiunity tester on both with bike running and no power showing, Will check all wiring and take apart clean and reassemble wiring but I do have a spare power valve actuactor thing could I swap that over and see if its that. If I cant find fualt could I by-pass the two ...

Yer the plugs looking good, but niether of solendoids recieving power but have managed to bodge up idle set up to idle as a temporay measure, are all power vlave controllers the same, could i use one off a mk 2 or mk 3?
Just hope its not a ecu problem.

:? What gives you that idea?, they can be tested with a battery, you should hear the solenoid opening and shutting.
I thought the same thing when I had an AR, and it was not the case.
Have you tried richening the pilot mix to see if that makes any appreciable difference.

The diaphragm isn't lifting allowing the bike to idle so previous owner had lifted the other adjustment on other side and that caused bike to idle funny, I know this sounds a bit Heath robinson but could I fix other side up so that I idles without diaphram.

Its the one which has only two pipes to it, not th one with three pipes. One which goes to diaphram thing on top of carb.

Ok, but when I say irregular its very bad. Makes me want to turn it off everytime I come to a stop also does it when you shut the throttle off but are still moving.
