Re: Hi from Perth, Aus
Action Honda in Parramatta are pretty good too. Slightly cheaper than Western Motorcycles. Although not many of the guys even know about the CRM. I'll have to check out Deakins prices also. I found a guy in carringbah that used ot import the CRM's so I bought most of his "NOS". Included crank bearin...

Re: Hi From Caloundra Queensland Australia
G'day from Sydney. Good luck finding a Mugen pipe (Very rare). I did see one getting sold as a full Mugen upgrade kit about 6 months ago in Griffith NSW but the price was about $1000. There is someone selling the DEP's on Ebay at the moment. Mine has a Pro-Circuit fitted but not sure what it is off....

I may be wrong, but isn't that the collar for the crank shaft which will have the o-ring on the ID and the crank seal running on the OD?

Re: New member Dublin
Sorry to bring this up again, but are you talking about the whole kickstarter (lever + knuckle) or just the lever itself. I only need to confirm as Honda can't get the knuckle joint which broke on my bike on the weekend. There is nothing wrong with my lever, I just need to confirm the spline is the ...

Re: Hi From Melbourne Australia
G'Day Mick. As far as I know, Mike is right about the other Mk's. As far as I know only the AR can be registered and most you find have been imported and complied in QLD (mine was). Although, being in Melbourne you can take advantage of Rec Rego if I'm not mistaken. I wish they would introduce this ...

Bogbike,
On a very quick search a 2002-2004 CR250 kickstart should fit. I have not done it but I think Hellisup has from what I read.

Re: Quick question.
There is an electrical cable between mudguard and lower fork yoke. It is covered in flexi-conduit routed in the curve of the mudguard between the four bolts that hold the guard on. Off the top of my head I can't remember what wire it is but I can check when I get home. I remember the cable as I want...

Re: Oil
1 Litre = 1000cc. So 1cc = 1 mL (600mL - 650mL = 600cc - 650cc) Sounds like you removing the right bolt. Not sure where the extra 300+ cc's are going though. Stupid question but is the sump plug back in? I've done it myself before. Also, make sure bike is completely upright and level. Might be worth...

Re: Clutch sticking
I had the same problem on an old 1981 CR125 I bought. I started the bike and keep the revs up as you drop it into gear (because if clutch is seized "engaged" the bike will take off straight away). When your riding around, hold the clutch lever in. It took approx 20 minutes of riding around and then ...

Re: Greetings from Oz. Help needed with vibration on CRM250AR 99
After checking the complete engine and finding a few smaller issues I am in the process of a full rebuild. I have ordered all parts from Honda. Bearings are all "special" sizes here for us (no bearing company has replacements). I have ordered a new counter balance shaft also as I thought I would jus...

Re: Greetings from Oz. Help needed with vibration on CRM250AR 99
Since original posting I have split the casings. It's amazing what some people do when they lack the skills required for a job. When I split the cases I found that the washer from the counter balance shaft was actually fitted the to primary input gearset along with the original, (This has marked the...

Greetings from Oz. Help needed with vibration on CRM250AR 99
First of all, hello gents. I have referred to this site many times for the CRM250AR 99 and all the information and suggestions have been more than helpful. I have a question for you. As the topic suggests, I have a bad vibration through my bike. I am currently in the process of stripping it down, (I...
