Re: HELP I NEED A CONROD KIT FOR MY CRM 250 AR!!

In that case I will keep my crank as you have now sorted it, I may need it in the future myself.

Good to hear you sorted it, I learnt a bit more today.

No such thing, never was and never will be.

Whats wrong with your crank, I have a spare complete crank available at £200, 6000 miles use and removed as the engine was stripped for parts.

Re: Latest rebuid

Ahh.....not just me then. I did not even factor in the price of a complete AR that I purchased just for spares on my rebuilds. My rebuilds were just too expensive, but are we doing it to make a profit, of course not, I did it to keep the bikes going and for my pleasure. Better than any alcohol or ci...

Re: Latest rebuid

Very, very, very nice I must say, I admire good work :BB

But how much so far for all the work carried out (not labour), are you keeping a record of costs.

Any reason you did not bright zinc the nuts and bolts plating.

Re: Piston slap

Even a bad supply of fuel can cause a bad pinking rattle, as can a needle being too low in the carb.

Re: Ukrainian 2stroke!

Until you have ripped a hose of your bike at Weston beach race you will never know what its like like to ride with no front brake hose for an hour. Hence best to have it as designers intended tucked out of the way, I take it yours is correct............... ;) 4 brake hoses routed correctly http://i1...

Re: Ukrainian 2stroke!

Honda supplies the bike with brake hose just like your friends bike in your picture.

Undo caliper and take it around the fork leg and refit it.

Nothing worse than falling off and catching the hose.................

Re: Ukrainian 2stroke!

It looks in great condition and the ECU will be fine when repaired, but remember it burnt out because either: 1. Voltage regulator is faulty. 2. Powervalve cables do not move freely. Check voltage output from generator Disconnect powervalve cables and make sure powervalve and cables move with absolu...

Re: Piston slap

I think a 14 tooth front sprocket is really just for the road, 13 tooth is ideal off road, easier on the clutch and it gives a bit more clearance for mud build up etc. 45 rear sprocket is spot on as per Bultacobob above.

Re: speedo gearbox

Remove it from bike and dismantle
Soak it in WD40 for a while
Clean with brake cleaner or petrol until all dirt and old grease has been removed
Soak in thin oil
Clean with brake cleaner again
Grease and use

Works every time.

Total time less than an hour

Re: £500 reward for my stolen mkI CRM

It's a kit of one camera and one display, nothing else required. Additional cameras can be purchased and you can alter the display to show 1,2,3 or 4 cameras, very simple. The camera kit is made by Sentient. My next door neighbour has a kitchen company and has replaced the complicated cctv system in...

Bob, Its amazing what risks the scumbags will take, and when they will do it, doubt Police will be interested, just give you a crime number. Due to the Police not really being interested unless you have CCTV, I had it installed it 10 years ago, and its amazing how quick some door to door callers dis...

Sound of a Nice quiet AR with DEP Pipe

Just started up one of the bikes and thought I would post a short video of how quiet they should be. A few people have posted in the past asking about noises etc, but this is how they should sound, and this is with a DEP pipe which makes a little more noise than standard, 6000 miles since new. http:...
