Re: Newbie To AR or not AR
Have a word with RICH1960, he bought one from me recently (No4), but not had any feedback from him. I have (No5) available for sale, but on the high side at £2,800 firm, has an MOT but sorned, runs superb. Its the one on the left, fitted road tyres 2 weeks ago. http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/o...

Tyre Sizes for SM
Its safe to say its been a while since my last confession on this site...... I have an underused AR which is pretty much mint and its been languishing in the back of the garage, unused for the last couple of years, I have been renovating my 350 ypvs and trying to get a Ducati 900SL to come back to l...

Re: AR Engine tuning
Knackered, Thanks for the info, I am not going as far as fitting a bigger carb but we will tickle the ports and take about .5 mm off the head. I will modify the airbox so it can flow some more air through it, re jet and see where we go from there. I am going to take the engine out in a month or so a...

AR Engine tuning
I have recently acquired my AR and have already fitted some Supermoto wheels, big disks etc and now am planning to pep up the engine. I am going to have the work done by a good mate of mine who can work wonders on 350 yamaha engines and I have challenged him to get some more top end out of the engin...

It's not a CRM but it's a two stroke...... This is what I started with this morning, I wanted to get one of my old valves back on the road but for one reason or another have just not got round to it http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/simonfoster/196F69C5-3E1A-45F4-AF84-E2B93AA3C82F-2699-00000276...

LED rear lights
I am planning on removing the rear mudguard and replacing it with an after market item I have got from Japan. Whilst I have the back end in bits I am also replacing the indicators with KTM units that I have in the back of the garage which is simple enough. I have got a rear brake light unit which ha...

Re: straight rear fender Mk3/AR
It's arrived and it's white, not black as I ordered...............
Looks like I will have to spray the tank white and change the colour scheme of the bike as its not really an option to send the beggar back.
The joys of fixing a bike up.

Re: AR jet sizes
I have spoken to leisure trail this afternoon, it may be it is the character of the engine using the active radicals when it is not sparking using the plug. When I am on part throttle it is mis firing and off the throttle and going down the rev range it is firing and 'four stroking' It feels like it...

Re: straight rear fender Mk3/AR
Banz, Just got my import bill from our wonderful government, had to pay £26.00 tax and also £13.50 clearance fee :OMG which has put the price up somewhat however the fender should be with me tomorrow. I eventually got hold of a numberplate hanger and rear light unit from Australia which came today. ...

Re: AR jet sizes
That would be really useful, I have done the plug chop on the bike but the mixture looks OK, biscuit brown/boderline running lean so I am at a bit of a loss of why it is behaving the way it is. I have not had the carb off the bike as yet so there could be all sort of jets/settings it there. I will p...

AR jet sizes
The CRM supermoto conversion is now finished and I took it out for the first time to see what the bike is like to ride. It handles well but the suspension needs fettling at some point as its a bit soft. I will try some heavier oil. Main concern is the fuelling, it's all over the show. I will do a pl...
