Re: Easy motard :)
So would it be possible to use original caliper with an extension bracket as you mentioned before?

Re: Easy motard :)
Does that mean you have to change the caliper if you want to go back to original wheels?

Re: How can I tell if the oil pump is working?
Hi 69chris Haven't heard anything back from Knackered yet so I'm guessing he's not found it yet. If you do have one that would be great but if not I'm going to give LT a call back and see what they say as I'm dying to give her a run! Everything else mechanical is sorted so now so al ready to go then...

Re: How can I tell if the oil pump is working?
It has 18-19 teeth on it, it's hard to tell as some are broken off! Its the one that has two sets of teeth on it if that helps. The smaller set of teeth has 13 teeth on it?
Thanks for your help as always.

Re: How can I tell if the oil pump is working?
69chris its the plastic cog that fits inside the clutch casing. It is for the oil pump but it doesent actually attach to the pump.

Re: Is 13/47 gearing similar to 14/45?
Thanks for that knackered, didn't see that before as you could tell! I have a much better understanding of hearing now.
Can you wheelie the bike without using the clutch on this gearing? Just out of interest really as I'd love it if I had much low end power!
Cheers

Re: How can I tell if the oil pump is working?
I had considered using premix full time, especially since I discovered a broken drive gear for the oil pump. It goes on the inside of the clutch casing. But from what iv read on the forum it's better to have the pump working instead of premix as you get the right amount of oil depending on throttle ...

Is 13/47 gearing similar to 14/45?
Hi all iv decided to buy a new chain & sprocket set for my project crm which lead me to think about gearing. How can I tell if the oil pump is working?
Hi guys Iv almost got my project crm ready for a test/tuning run before I work on the looks. One of the things I was wondering is how can I tell if the oil/ fuel mixture pump is working? Iv searched around & I know about checking the setup of it but how can I be sure it's actually injecting oil into...

Re: Got it running but revs like mad!
Been working on the bike the last few days & got it ticking over & running perfect now.
Mine was the same as yours Jeram. As soon as I took the carb off I realised.
I just need to tune it when I can actually ride it as its smoking a fair bit.
Thanks for all the advice guys
