The Mk3 throttle cable is compatible with a Mk2?
So the part number 17910-KAE-770 would do the trick

I decided to get the bash guard mountings powder coated the same colour as the frame, to allow them to blend in: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/arj256/Honda%20CRM%20250/BashGuardBracketsColourCoridinated_zpsff8b1dec.jpg With the Nearside radiator all straightened out and fitted, I set about do...

The loom all cleaned up and re-taped ready for fitment: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/arj256/Honda%20CRM%20250/BikeLoom4_zps974488cb.jpg I then set about fitting the loom, which due to me having it off the bike for a while, took me abit of time to remember exactly where everything went. Thank...

With the yokes on, I could refit the forks to allow the bike to stand on its own wheels again :) I will remove them at a later date, as I would like to strip them down and inspect the internals and change the oil. But it’s quicker to get the rest of the bike done now and remove them near the end. So...

As I had a bit of spare time, I set about giving the exhaust a lick of paint over where I had patched it, to give it a fighting chance against corrosion: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/arj256/Honda%20CRM%20250/ExhaustMaskedUp_zps7128a8f1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/arj256/Honda%20...

Later in the week I got a call that my cylinder barrel had been re bored and was in the post. The next task that I started with, was sorting out the radiator fins. This was one of those tasks I wished I hadn't started, but I am sure it is a contributor to why the bikes over heat when moving slowly. The radiator fins on both my radiators wasn't letting the air through so that's a good rainy e...

Re: Removing Powervalve

Cheers for that, was hesitant if it was suitable for a little bit of force. Had to make up a slide hammer for it and even that didn't work, meaning a few gentle taps of the hammer broke the build up of carbon to allow it to remove. Its out now: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/arj256/Honda%20CRM...

Having been tempted with giving greenlaning a go for a while, I was scouring Gumtree for bikes in the area and stumbled across an advert for a 1991 Honda CRM 250. Would like to remove my power valve for cleaning up and inspection, as its removed when its re bored to have material taken off as far as I'm aware. Looking at the diagram of it, it only appears to be held in by the clip and bolt under the cover? And once removed you should be able to pull the shaft...
