Re: Front brakes
I've tried sintered pads and organic pads and have found them to make no difference. I don't like giving up on things but this has got me tearing my hair out! I'm getting closer and closer to just looking for a replacement caliper and master cylinder!

I have searched the forum but can't find any answers. I know that the front brakes on my MK2 CRM are 20 years old, but I'm having serious issues with stopping power, and am finding on road I'm having to use my back brake a hell of a lot more than I'd like! The front brake was crap when I bought the ...

Re: Newbie in Northumberland
Just re-read your post Mike, the black pipe between the tank and pump, not the sight glass. Sorry, my mistake. I'll have a good look around the system to be sure there are no leaks.

Re: Newbie in Northumberland
Thanks for the quick replies. The sight glass is clear so I'm guessing the previous owner must have changed it from the black one. I'll try running it down to check the indicator light and see when it comes on. As for the clutch, the lever movement is nice and smooth, it just seems like the clutch i...

Newbie in Northumberland
Just got myself a 1993 CRM 250 and thought I'd say hello. After sorting out the brakes I took it green laning for the first time today, and I must say I'm impressed! Coming from 4 stroke motocross bikes I thought the CRM might be a handful in the mud, but it is so useable with plenty of low down gru...
