well it came back and i tried it yesterday 100 mile run brilliant ive got my bike back.
£12.50 to post and £58 for the repair and tune up also £39 for a rectifier of thievebay

it sounds like mine went when running with duff rectifier headlights on indicating and braking it did similar untill i turned out the lights .it was fine untill i used all the amps for lighting then it robbed the sparks also try your cdi on a mates bike as they like to bugger up together.

it cost me £12.50 to send mine to athens but you cant insure it for more than £250 going to greece with the post office .its been gone two weeks now but i have borrowed a duff one so have moved my valve to fully open and been out a few times the main difference is there is no bottom end pick up so y...

check your rectifier if it goes it buggers the pgm powervalve circuit

i have contacted nick via ebay and discussed my pgm with him i sent a photo of it as there may be a burn mark on the rubber .i know two other people going down this same route ,rectifier failure then fried powervalve circuit so it must be catching at the moment .

i have found that the powervalve has stopped working although it tests ok on a battery so i think the pgm has blown on the powervalve circuit

please give any info on pgm repairs as my mk2 has gone the same way after a rectifier fault .
is nick in athens on ebay search crm pgm repair .

ah now we are getting there knackered .as the run before last was after the big february storm this was from longridge and beyond,there was only slush in lancashire but longpreston was the start of the snow it ended in three feet deep drifts above buckden that we fought through for an hour then real...

well the replacement rectifier arrived yesterday ,i plugged it in and fastened it up and i now have a runner with lights that dont dim either braking or indicating .i did find the rear light connector was dirty could this may have started the fault that killed the rectifier ?

my mk 2 started to pop and fart at the end of 3 long straights on way home as i was braking for an s bend it ground to a halt so i wiggled all easy to get at wires put it on reserve and turned off the lights and it restarted and rode as good as ever .next run i started it and noticed the lights dimm...
