Yeah, I've got the g-plus hoses too. They're fine apart from the aforementioned clips that come with them.

Re: Clutch issues and more...
I meant to say I tried this with two different actuator arms and two different cables (both OEM, one old, one brand new). I also installed new actuator bearings along with a different basket, which was in better condition.
The only thing that seemed to make a difference was the longer rod.

Re: Clutch issues and more...
Hi David, yes I installed a longer rod and it seems to have sorted the clutch issue. Saying that, I haven't managed to get the bike running and it's currently sitting in shame underneath a cover in my garden while I work on my other bikes.
The clutch action has definitely improved though...

Re: I need to clean the carb what is the best way to get at
The subframe is pretty easy to remove, it's only three bolts. As mentioned you can leave stuff like the loom in situ, as the subframe will drop down giving you access to remove the airbox.
If you're not going to use the bike for a while drain the carb of fuel.

Yep, it should come off with a bit of a wriggle and a tug. You could try warming up the rubbers with a hair dryer too.

Re: Mk3 Loom Rebuild
All the parts should be coming today, so hopefully I should be able to get the loom together this week. Jim, what do you want to do about the side stand switch? Do you want the plug reinstated or permanently bypassed. I think If I keep the plug I can bypass the cutout and keep the side stand light ...
