Re: Power valve and servo??
Well, a day of much faffing revealed the PV exhaust butter fly to be clean as is the pipe, no noticeable carbon build up. Cables may be a little bit sticky. Could the cable lever nut be over tightened? The lever moves ok by hand once it is off the top or bottom of the stroke, just the initial moveme...

Power valve and servo??
Yeah, i know. Somebody will be doing a face palm at the thread title. Quite rightly, I'm a mechanical numpty. Any hoo, I will lay my ignorance bare for all to see. Two things. My Mk II powervalve is very stiff, can't move it with my fingers. When I take the header off, as per the FAQ, how do I clean...

Crikey! That back sprocket looks like my plank cutter.
Kudos. I can only manage small wheelies.

Re: Crm slow acceleration?
BUT, at the end of the day you need to compare your 20 year old TRAIL bike bike with similar mounts. Mike Nail. Head. I wonder how many of the modern Katooms and valve bouncers will be still be loved in 20 years time. Another thought. Check your air filter. Might be worth gauging the amount of spoo...

Re: Crm slow acceleration?
Hmmm. I'm not really in a position to comment to much on the CRM. I've only managed a few short jaunts on gravel and I'm still not happy with the jetting. I got the CRM off my father who now has a KDX200 SR. In his own words the KDX feels like it has a Briggs and Stratton carb on it. Not much going ...

Re: Kia Ora from NZ
Oh hello. Thank you for the welcome and reply. I'm an expat living in the Bay of Islands, Northland, for the past 20 odd years. The whole point of shipping the bike down here was so that my father could ride it when he visited for 3 months from last December. The logistics company he used managed to...

Kia Ora from NZ
Hi all, After a 9 month world cruise I recently managed to get a 93 MKII into me shed. Happy days.. My aim is to get the bike registered on the road down here, it was registered in the UK, so I just need to give it a wee tidy up in case I get a jobs worth at the testing station. Otherwise it is in v...
