Re: Front fork damping setup

I was able to get the tubes separated by removing the seals, washers, wire clip. That was pretty much straight forward. I was hoping to avoid that but a new seal couldn't hurt. However the sleeve is still in there. I also tried to tap it out through shocking it but no such luck. Adding to the proble...

Re: Front fork damping setup

No one was responding to my post anyways. I talked to a suspension pro an he said that problem #1 on my post is actually the opposite to what I thought. the inner cartridge rod IS supposed to move like this relative to the outside rode. Thereby making the other seized or really really tight, as I st...

Re: Front fork damping setup

Hi Mike (and everyone else), Sorry for the late reply. After taking the forks apart here is what I have found, and am puzzled as to how to fix it now. Attached photos 1, 2, 3 correspond to described issues 1, 2, 3 on the schematic (also attached) 1. I noticed that on one cartridge assembly the press...

Re: What mrk do I have?

http://www.crm250.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5282 It's MD on the frame, the AR model, therefore neither of the the marks. I only had the spec and manual sheets from Leisure Trail UK for the marks which is why explained why I didn't have the AR specs. However dug a little deeper and found the se...

Yes it would. Unfortunately bike is pieces at the moment as I'm rebuilding a few things.

The info knackeredMk1 provided me sorted it out.

Appreciate your help though =)

What mrk do I have?

Hi guys,
silly but simple question.
I'm making some suspension adjustments with new fork oil and the spec sheet has three different specs for mark 1, 2 and 3.
My question is how do I know which mark i have?
thanks

Front fork damping setup

Hi everyone, I'm trying to setup and adjust the damping on the front forks off my CRM250 which won't be a big deal ONCE I knew how/where they are currently setup. Because at the moment one damping adjustment screw seems to be hard up while the other never adjusts to full stop. Thus I imagine that bo...

Minimum brake disc thickness

Hey everyone,
What are the minimum brake disc thickness, both from and rear, for the CRM250?
Also what is the thickness of new front and rear brake distances?
This will give me a % indicator as to how much wear they've been exposed to.

Thanks

Re: Electric Start??

I too am interested in learning what (if any) kits are out there for an electric start for the same reasons mentioned by Active Radical.
Mike, the link you had is broken. Was that something useful for electric start kits for a CRM?

For all,
Are there kits available for electric start?

Re: Torque setting rear wheel

Thanks Mike and jompy, will have a look at these tonight and let you know how I go for the weekend.
In the meantime do you what the tightening torque spec is on that rear axle nut?

Re: Torque setting rear wheel

Good advice,
However does anyone actually know the torque spec for the rear axle nut?

Also what should the chain adjustment be? (i.e. what should the side indicator notches read)?
