Plenty on ebay, (honda sprocket bolts/ cw nuts) they're m8x1.25 thread, depends on the sprocket you're running too, as some are countersunk some have flat base
Brilliant ... cheers for that it was the sizing I needed

Rear Sprocket Bolt Sizes?

Does anyone happen to know the bolt sizes for the rear sprockets . Previous owner put some titanium ones in and you can't tighten them until they stop spinning almost seems like they're stretching as you try to do them up so thought I'd at least try something else and see if they tighten up properly.

Re: Best Sprocket Combo?

Yeah, 13/45 seems to not be as good as I first thought, it'll lift it in first but not effortlessly. With that being said, I have changed the end can (big thanks to knackeredmk1) and I've not adjusted the jetting (similar to your issue), so it is a little flat, then pops off above 50% rippums. I'm ...

Re: Best Sprocket Combo?

I'm running 13/45, fitted the 45 (JTR 301) today actually (changed from a 42). Front wheel lifts under power in 1st. I only took it up and down the road, in the wet, but I will be doing more riding soon. The 45 fits fine as per the post xstian has linked. I might consider dropping to 12 on the fron...

Re: Best Sprocket Combo?

Not sure on sprocket sizes to be honest, I read on a Japanese site you can remove the noise reduction program (which is first 3 gears I believe) by cutting a wire to the pgm, maybe that'll increase hp in the lower gears? Think it just reduces valve lift, seems to work on AR models :) If you don't w...

Best Sprocket Combo?

Trying to find out what the best sprocket combo is .... ideally one that'll get the front end in the air without dropping the clutch although this may not be possible without making it horrible on the road. I was wondering if I could get away with 13 on the front and 45 on the back without a dropper...

Re: DEP exhaust jetting

Aftermarket exhaust tend to make standard jetting rich. So you have to drop the needle one or go one lower on the pilot to start with. BUT ONLY IF YOU NEED TO! Told you this already ;) Just thought I'd let you know, have today gone down one lower on the pilot and it's completely transformed how it'...

Two Stroke Oil Capacity

Does anyone know what the total 2 stroke oil capacity is on one of these? I thought my bike was eating oil as it dropped to bottom of the see through hose (which I thought inferred it was near empty) after very little mileage and was panicking but I now believe it's more of an indicator of how full ...

Re: Weak Spark

Yes, you need it well blown out before you can really read the plug. You need to clear the crankcases of residual oil after a rebuild and it sounds like that is starting to happen. A misfire would have to be pretty bad to gunk up a plug. Have you confirmed you have the correct plug fitted? Its wort...

Re: Weak Spark

They do look a little weak but that doesn't really mean much. A big fat spark that doesn't cope with combustion pressures is no use. If some engines with magnetos are not used for a long time the magnetism in the rotor can start to fade away. However, it should reenergise itself if used regularly. ...

Weak Spark

Has anybody had any issues with a weak spark or are they just like that in comparison to other bikes? If not, wondering what it may be, the stator's 1993 so maybe could do with a refurb, new coil or possibly the bike was stripped and powder coated by the previous owner, I wonder if maybe he's not ma...

Do The Indicators Self Correct

It's 23 years since I've ridden a bike and just bought a CRM which is what I had before .... I can't remember but should the indicators self correct after making a turn or does it always have to be done manually? Just trying to work out of there's something wrong with it or if it's as should be and ...

DEP exhaust jetting

Does the jetting (or anything else) need changing with a DEP exhaust or does everyone leave it as standard, and if people have changed what have you gone to and did you notice a difference for the better.

The bike's a Mk 2.2.
