Hi we went in that area a month ago and there was a notice at the bottom of the hill saying it was out of bounds we used to go there a lot and it must have stopped coz no tyre maks around.

You can drill tiny holes and grip a screw with the moles ,heat and pull the dent out. Then mig the holes up. then tidy welds with ginder. well it sounds like it should work,thats what welder at work told me.

On my mk 1 a few years ago I was in the same position,it turned out to be the regulater rectifier. I got one from a suzuki rgv 250 and it did the trick,hope this helps.
