hi tony is the headlamp coming on dim when you use the indicators ? if so then the rear indicators are finding a earth through the tail light & travelling up to the headlamp & then down to earth try connecting a wire to a clean part of the frame & the other end to the earth wire feeding the rear lig...

hi have a right hand side crank case for mk2 if you need it just pay postage, the left hand side has been welded above the gear change shaft & is faulty

my mk2 started running rough didnt respond as quick when reved & i found the groove on the flywheel & the woodruff key both badly worn i fitted a new flywheel & key & problem solved think the previous owner might not have tightened the nut to correct torque hope this helps

hi my old mk2 had the cap off xr650 on it with a rubber breather pipe & i would think any honda that has metal tank should fit

maybe too many wheelies whilst going up hill ? i would re check the level of the gearbox oil maybe there was too much oil in & the steep hills & hard accelaration caused the oil to vent up the breather.it as been known for people to overfill not by much but its very easily done

hi kostas i used a 25x47x6 it cost me £4 for both seals from simplybearings.co.uk just fitted new bearings & seals today will see how long they last

mk3 rear wheel seals
i have searched the what fits what & can only find the sizes for mk1 rear wheel seals which are 25x40x7 x2 .can anyone confirm if the mk1 & mk3 use the same seals

thanks jon i will order 5 then i dont have to keep swapping them when i change to my moto mudguard.i tried david silver website last week but there wasnt a crm listed they bmust be same as xr250!

front mudguard washers ?
hi does anyone have the part number for the washer/collar that inserts into the front mudguard where the 4 bolts go through into the bottom yokes?(mk3) or anyone have a spare 1 i have lost 1 while swapping mudguards

i had a brilliant day covered 115 miles was good to meet moose on his mk2 which is like brand new & a shame to get it dirty.ended our day on heartbreak hill & only managed to get 3/4 way up matt managed to get all way up on his crf230.did not get any photos only 1 video of the car wash. hope more cr...
