yes i did,i looked for a few years for a nice black one and this one been original caught my eye.i had a choise of two,one with uk belly pan and nose cone or the full fairing one.but this one was cleaner.well worth the 500mile round trip.i taxed and mot;d it and have done about 20miles and love it.n...

some very nice bikes there admin.i also have an rd125ypvs same age and 7000miles.same colour.mint condition,i was shocked to see yours because as you say theres not many about now.love the hondas though

Yer a friend of mine had his brand new crf 250 stolen last month,never been found.we had a spate of it here with the local chavs and the police dont seem to give a sh**t. sorry to hear about your ar.i just hope one day someone does the same to them. :twisted:

yer very easy. remove old seal by putting in a small self tapper or 2 and pulling.you could use a very small screw driver but be careful not to damage the casing.new one is about £3 from LT.cover in oil and tap back in using a socket of correct size. hope this helps

Oh i always spray wd down the ignition switch on my cars and bikes,never had a problem, am i a plank to :lol: seriously i hope you sort it soon. please tell me if im wrong but is there not an ignition module as well? the one behind the light,

Just wondering what the electrical engineer said? im guessing he said its ok. i think the answer is in the previous posts, cant be anything else.but make sure it is a spark problem.they wont spark much on a kick and its easy to miss. im sure theres lots of info in previous posts

you could have a point there slider, thinking about it ,it is very close to a few shoe shops lol. anyway phoned the shop today ,its gonna cost about £15 to tap the pump,but now ive got to strip it all down again. maybe i should get the wife to do that and all.

Cheers for the reply slider.i was gonna try to get away with out removing the cover but as you say it will be best to take it off again,not worth the risk eh. ive sent the wife to the bike shop to see if they can sort the pump,i will let you know how i get on

I need some advice again Guys. I was bleeding my oil pump on mk2 and the bleed screw has been bodged by previous owner,it will not tighten up also looks like the wrong screw.Now the problem is this,i took the pump of by undoing the two 8 mil bolts and there is a drive cog for the pump behind the cas...

Yer cheers slider ,never trusted them pumps anyway but i will dig out an old fairy bottle for premix. better to play it safe

Thanks fossil i think thats what happend, Any way i have just stripped out the clutch and apart from a little ware on the basket ,all looks good,so just wondering if theres anything to watch out for when putting it back together.has anyone had probs with bleeding the oil pump and so on.It never harm...

Does anyone else suffer with a slight gearbox oil leak.I replaced the seals on the gear selector and the sprocket about 6 months ago and its started to leak again.Not a lot but its noticable,i cleaned the area first before fitting the seals so must be age but every 6 months ? any thoughts before i r...
