Sounds like the carbs dried out and maybe got some dirt in it ,, The next time its starts first time then cuts out , try removing the air filter cover and spraying "easy start" on the filter /or down the carb , If it easily starts then the carbs being starved ,, if its still a beeitch then its some...

i would also agree with the carb theory.when it cuts out open the screw at the bottom of the carb to see if you have fuel in there.if not i use would check your getting fuel out of the tap and then strip the carb.hope you get it sorted THANKS FOR THE HELP MATE,yes petrol is comming out of the botto...
