don't put a washer in the fork leg because you are bending it and that will blow seals.i had this same problem and got some new spacers made to physically move the whole wheel across by 3mm

i replaced the pickups and stator windings and that did the trick but my windings where damaged.try taking the flywheel off and giving it a good clean inside mine was full of brown gunky stuff which didn't help.

kramer would you please mind tellling me how you went about measuring the resistance on the pickups and what the readings where

just read the post about no spark on a mk 2.2 and it seems like the pickups are the problems leading to this.but i have also noticed damage to one of wires on the stator windings behind the flywheel.but the bike starts and kicks out twelve volts so i can't see that would be another problem unless i'...
