have you checked the fuel side?

if its the CDI you will probably be better off also changing the reg/rec, both are very expensive so contact dave silver and although it take three weeks you save 25% (£120ish). i know i`ve been there!

yea sounds very like powervalve, if its not stuck it could be the CDI.

try taking the cables off the powervalve and moving it by hand with the engine off, it should move smoothly, but it can gum up after a while especially with fully sinthetic oil. not much of a problem if this is it.

na, we went the weekend just passed, not that muddy where we were, mostly rocky. saw a few other peps, but not many. thousands of horses and landrovers, on a pony roundup. also people on bikes and qauds on same. you didn`t miss anything there. one track was busier than the M25.
