first stop for anything CRM is leisuretrail, then maybe BandC express for sprockets etc.

I've been meaning to fit a stainless hose for a while, but find that sintered pads made a huge differance (once bedded in) so haven't rushed

Swingarm Pivot....

How easy is it to pull a non-seized swingarm pivot out to grease and fit a grease nipple?

feel like I've been neglecting the poor thing, now I've lost her and got her back I feel the urge to do some preventative maintenance! gonna try and do the wheels too.

I was gonna try a 2 stage reed to if that helped the over run, but having to pay for bits to replace the broken bits from the theft have put paid to that, got some new sprocket bolts instead as I have to cut 1 off to fit my 44t sprocket, maybe next year...

Guy’s…… Save yourselves loads of hassle, bruised knuckles, swearing, kicking the dog etc….. :( :wink: Just remove the wheels, pop em down to your local tyre dealer and for ten/twelve quid and 20 mins their sorted…… freeing you up to ride your crm :) Where is the fun in that? I Swapped my front tyre...

last night I left the tube valve in the wheel, I was very carefull and managed to get tyres off/on without pinching it. saved my 20 mins and more bruised knuckles.

dirt bike store have a how to guide. my back tyre was just a bugger, but if you stand on the rim, put tyre paste in the gaps and work it in (walk round the rim) it helped, a previously glued on tyre came of in 5 mins after the paste. washing up liquid does the job too. the longer the levers the easi...

then can be a right bastid, i usually stand on the tyre to peel the bead back then put a tyre lever down the edge and hit it with a hammer.

make sure it's disk side up if your standing on them, proper tyre past can help.

i've got mine to do soon, nobblies on slimey roads don't work...

i also read somewhere that the CDI takes a high voltage from the coil on the engine to feed the Capaciter in the CDI unit....there ain't no alternator.

Spark plug was the reason mine got fluffy, slapped a platinum one on and it's like new again - 22k and counting, took the head off and the bore was fine, head had some carbon gummed on, but not too much...

I use the green slime stuff, I tried it on a non fitted inner tube that I know had a puncture, it lost a bit of air before the gloop oozed out, but I've not patched it and it still holds air (it's just started going down slightly over a couple of weeks).....that was 12 mths ago the heavest duty inne...
