dont think pipe is an overflow as it comes from the bottem of the expansion tank and so anything i put in comes straight back out. Overflow pipe from top of tank is cliped to frame behind exhaust manifold.

Can anyone tell me where the hose that comes from the bottom of the expansion tank on a mk 1 should go to. Have had overheating problem and just found this hose hanging down the front of bike and expansion tank empty. Cheers in anticipation

sidestand cut out has been removed. Put a BR8ES plug in last week and all seems fine so far. Still Cant work out why the b9's dont work. The cap has a 5K resistance, and as i understand it the resistance is there to stop interference with electronic gadgets so not a problem on a crm.But as she runs fine on br8's i'll stick with them.
