Pretty sure calipers are the same across most honda dirt bikes inc.many of the XRs and crfs. The hangers are different on the 2005 +crfs but the caliper is the same. A good guide will be if they use the same brake pads.

No they will not fit as they are a different fitting. The CRM uses the same fitting as most of the XR's These are cheap and should be ok provided you are not in a hurry. The balance shaft bearing/shaft when it goes is a very distinctive high pitched whirling noise and not a slight rattle.
A slight rattle or knock sounds more like the clutch so you might be lucky and not have anything to do.

Has anyone got the sizes of the crankseals to hand. I have had a look at the FAQ but could not find them.
