Hi Jon
The best advise on finding out where to ride legally is your local TRF Group which is either West Yorkshire who meet in Bradford www.wytrf.org.uk or East Yorkshire. There's loads of legal riding in the Dales, North Yorks moors, or Peak district.

Re: CRM 250 MK3 rear luggage rack DIY
I bought one of the expensive ones from Japan for my AR (now sold) but same as MK3. It bolts to the same bolts as the seat is fastened down to, and uses the holes through the back mudguard on the rear of the frame, some small cone shaped spacers fit into the recess on the back mudguard and keeps the...

Re: MK2 cuts out and refuses to start. HELP???
I reckon you have more than one fault, one us electrical and one fuel/mechanical. Re the electrical fault, my mk2 was doing the sambas yours...dead with no flicker when kicking, turned out to be the wires going in to the ignition barel, the connector block that the wire from the ignition barel was f...

I recall there was a kit for XR400's, it was expensive though, but it worked quite well. I would have thought it could be adapted for the CRM. A quick Google shows a lot of discussion, but no obvious supplier.

Re: New member from Yorkshire
Whilst I haven't got a CRM anymore due to a knackered hip and now needing a lecky start, I've had a mk2 for a few years and then an AR, I also have a close family member who has restored 5 or 6 and knows mk3s inside out. If you're in Yorkshire and not too far from me (Bradford) I'd be happy to have ...

As Mike said, they last for ages, saves wear and tear on your chain, in addition to saving the bearing housing on your swing arm, money well spent imho.

Re: magneto pick ups.No spark
Check side stand switch, and if removed check that the correct wires have been put together, check the kill switch is working properly, check the ignition switch and wires behind headlight. Is the neutral light lighting up when you are kicking the bike over?
