I was going to take mine to them and have them anodised black, but I ended up having the seals done by Kais (as they are closer to me) and leaving them gold, so I can't say how good they are

have you tried Heat??, I once used an expanding wall bolt (v large one like in the pic) put that in the bearing where the spindle goes and drifted it out with a steel shaft

Just had a look at my carb (MK3) and it does have the shroud as the second picknackeredMk1 wrote:The 'shroud' that is in the second photo was not in the Mk1, but I think was in the Mk3 .
