You mean the new bearings?
How about a powerful vacuum cleaner and an proper blast with an air line.
Then lots of flushing with parafin?
You'll have to be extra careful and make sure every bit is out

Re: Plastics, vinyl wrap
Ive tried doing it. A full roll ended up screwed up in the bin
Ya need lots of patience and skill. I have the former but lack the latter.
The panels being flexible make it extra hard, how did you get around this?

Re: First ever rebuild!
I dont think your gonna be getting all the seals an that what helisupp listed for £300, but you dont have to change them. You dont have to change the balance shaft either. Its a case of if your planning on keeping the bike a while, its worth replacing certain things. If you just want to get it runni...

Re: First ever rebuild!
Be cheaper buying my mk2, just for the engine and rest for spares.
I have a spare quickfire blowlamp if your worried about cost of gas for heating bearings etc. It connects onto a propane cylinder which only cost about 7 quid. It also lights itself but its gettin on a bit an doesnt always self light

Re: Front wheel
What i mean by the spindle acts as spacer face is where the spindle goes fat, it touches the speedo drive. The speedo drive doesnt touch the fork. Thats why you bounce on the forks - the spindle will naturally seat itself in that clamp, then tighten the clamp

Re: Front wheel
Yeah, the spindle acts as the spacer face. Do that then nip up the 4 nuts, then back them off a bit. Hold handlebars with front brake on and bounce the forks to take up the sticktion. Without moving the forks again too much, tighten up the 4 nuts.
If im wrong i'll soon be corrected

Re: Front wheel
Hi,
What mark crm do you have?
The speedo drive acts as a spacer, and you have another spacer on the other side.
You should have 4 nuts on the spindle clamp, same side of the speedo drive, if its a mk2
