Re: Sprocket Gaurd
Not sure if other bikes guards would fit. You could try an XR guard but it would be a total gamble. Maybe get a local fabrication shop to make one using the original as a template?

Re: New Here!
Sounds good. Let us know if they can rebuild your crank then because I have a spare duff one on my desk as a paper weight. The Crank rod is a thing of legend as Honda don't sell them. LT send the cranks off for rebuild (which is the failed one on my desk) but wont say (or don't know) what the rod is...

Re: New Here!
Why do a top end rebuild? Just do a compression test if you are worried. These engines last forever.

Re: swingarm linkage bushes
What part are they?
https://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces ... M+250.html
No 6? If so they are only a spacer so reuse unless they are really damaged.
I can get some made if needed but I need to know the dimensions.

Re: Water in the gearbox
I do mine every couple of rides these days as I left it too long once (600 miles) and it killed the balancer shaft bearing. If you are using the bike for laning or enduro it is getting worked hard. The clutch is being used a lot and will put particles into the oil. change every 200 miles max unless ...

Re: Model and Year info
incorrect. PGM faults are well known due to failure of the Reg/Rec. My bike had failed reg/rec which took out the PGM and it was serviced meticulously by the PO.

Re: Model and Year info
The AR is the final model of CRM with loads of fancy electronics. The Mk3 is virtually the same except no fancy electronics so it doesnt really go wrong like the AR.
