Me and the brother inlaw both have the same problem with our mk2's. They both run on when shutting the throttle, the revs settle down to normal tickover after a minute or thereabouts.

You will need to check the plug colour by doing a plug chop. for the main jet you need to take bike out for a run keep it at top revs for couple of mins then kill engine. now check you plug if its white it will need a bigger jet it needs to be a nice tan colour

mine are based on some i saw on a bike on ebay..

yep i just did mine i had to grind the bottom seat, new tapper bearings fitted from wemoto all sorted now...just got to put the rest together

i do have a compression tester, just thought that the answer maybe simple....ill have to take a methodical approach

it has a dep front pipe that has been crushed towards frame, does look like it restricts gas flow a little but i dont think enough?

rode bike home it power drops off topend, it also doesnt wheelie
when bike is at standstill it revs freely and sounds good.

not like other crrms ive had
any advice welcome

have done conventional forks ...hardest thing is removing bottom bolts, have to be done under compression.
if someone could post instructions on how to do it, it would be very helpful
