Portsmouth motorcycle racing club enduro

Did a round of the club enduro series today :D , cracking venue & very friendly, a CRM would get round with no problems if anyone's thinking about having a go, or maybe do travelling marshall if you want a bimble round. I used my KTM as the CRM's engine is in bits  When i've regained the abilit...

Re: Ryedale

Thats a big concern of mine, I've been looking at all sorts of 12v fans but haven't decided finally yet on which way to go, the cheap & chearful computer fan or something made for getting covered in mud & getting jet washed, though i am leaning heavily towards the latter & looking for a proper one. ...

Re: Ryedale

Thanks very much for that, my acu licence came today so I'm almost ready to go :D We've a great club down here, Portsmouth motorcycle racing club that I've rejoined, they've an enduro in mid September that I'm hoping to have a go at or at least do travelling Marshall. I may not get to a rally this y...

Re: Ryedale

Now that looks like some serious fun, where do these events get advertised? Want another CRM'er for company?

Re: first day out in over 12 years !

Flights to Malaga depend on where from & what time you fly, easy jet, fly be etc can be easily checked online, I'm looking to get out there again maybe November time but probably early next year, maybe March if anyone's interested. Lyndon, the boss, assesses your riding all the time and varies the r...

Re: first day out in over 12 years !

Hi Jompy, I think you need to keep the price in context with these things, doing a trackday on a road bike is £200 by the time you take into account fuel, tyres etc and can easily end up a lot more. I just had three days with torotrails just outside Malaga including 4 nights accommodation for £399, ...

Sunday 26th August (posted as May!) 2012

Anyone interested in a bit of green laning? Starting from Clanfield/Butser hill area just off the A3M north of Portsmouth at 9:30. Planning to head north for a full english somewhere, have a place in mind at Alton. This'll be a relaxed ride, I've scoped out about an hours worth of trails that get up...

Re: Wednesday 15th August anyone?

It always looks like rain ;) One of the great things I've found with trail riding is the rain doesn't matter, often changes the trail & makes it a bit more of a challenge :) Can't get around the work thing though  I'm hoping to plan out a reasonable days ride North from Butser then when I have ...

Wednesday 15th August anyone?

Gents, I've a day off on Wednesday, thinking of finding a few more lanes heading North from Clanfield / Butser hill just off the A3m near Portsmouth, anyone else available??
I know a couple but am looking for more so it won't be a quick/hard day, plenty of stops and map reading.
