Hey Guys, Just wanted a second opinion on something. I am doing my steering head bearings and am at the stage of reassembly. Am I correct in saying that the top bearing should slide over the steering stem and into place by hand, opposed to having to freeze the stem and press the bearing into place. ...

the problem with bonding the cracks back together is going to be ensuring that it is absolutely clean and oil free before you glue it. Alot of adhesives would stick plastic from araldite to superglue but if you cant 'open the cracks enough degrease the cracks then how are you going to get any kind o...

there is proper filter oil that should used but if you cant get the proper stuff then find a fairly thick, sticky oil (I've even heard of people using honey!).
